Refined in its aesthetic and technical details, it interprets the excellence of Made in Italy, which blends the designer's vision, refined materials, hands-on knowledge, and industrial precision. It's in the DNA of Ceccotti Collezioni create a product with a distinctive identity and high manufacturing quality, every time.
Just like Bean, which is created with solid American walnut. Every single phase is carried out with respect for woodworking traditions and with attention to the smallest details: it takes more than two weeks to assemble its 346 parts, which are glued together without screws. It then takes twelve hours for finishing and eight for painting, a process that surpasses some of the dynamics of mass production: to this day each piece is subject to visual and manual inspections to verify the accuracy of the joints, such as by passing millimetre-thick sheets between the drawers to check the tolerances. The large top, which can be opened, has a leather working pad and the interior is divided into sections. It is made of veneered multilayer poplar with a leaf thickness of 1mm: a distinctive feature that gives the product value and durability compared to the 5/10 or 6/10 mm veneers that are commonly used. It features a built-in storage compartment, with beam trays in brushed nickel brass placed on the side. The set is completed by the eight side drawers (4 each side), the first of which is organized with internal dividers in maple. Available in two sizes, Bean can be customized with a kit that includes internal drawers and dividers in maple wood, drawer bottoms in saddle-leather, and details with a burnished brass finish and custom nameplate. Pairing it with the Marlowe chair makes a classy combination.
