An elegant console table with flap doors and drawers, designed to hold useful objects for the tea ceremony, while remaining a transversal furnishing complement that can be adapted to different contexts. Among the elements of the collection, it is undoubtedly the most easily integrated in various areas of the home. The ability to hold objects inside it is a strong distinguishing feature compared to the consoles currently in the catalogue. The structure is made of American walnut, available in all catalogue colours, and is characterised by a pair of crossed crosspieces supporting a storage unit with two flap doors. Every detail is meticulously cared for: the sides of the doors extend over the surface of the top, framing it with a 3 mm gap and emphasising the "quartabuono" cuts on the corners and ends of the doors. The two flap doors, fixed with solid burnished brass hinges, are custom-designed and made to measure for this piece. Inside, a wooden drawer with bevelled sides can be pulled out via runners and can be fitted, if required, with a soft leather mat finished with precious tone-on-tone perimeter stitching.
